Le Tertre is a small hamlet just 3km from Soudan, a small town offering all of your basic needs. The large historic town of Chateaubriant is only 8km and has a Wednesday market, Chateau and huge variety of shops, restaurants, bars and leisure activities including large indoor swimming pool.
‘LA RUINE’
Nestling in a quiet hamlet, this attractive stone built cottage has been tastefully renovated, incorporating beamed ceilings and log burner.
The self catering accommodation sleeps up to five persons.
‘LA CABANE EN RONDINS’
The log cabin is fully equipped and comfortably furnished. There is ample parking space and it is set in beautiful surroundings.
The self catering accommodation is for up to two persons only and is unsuitable for children (except for a small infant in travel cot only).
BATHING POOL
We have an aboveground shared bathing pool which guests are welcome to enjoy. It is lovely for cooling off in on a hot sunny day, size 5.5m x 1.2m depth. Available June to August inclusive.
SHARED GARDEN
Both gites have an outdoor seating area overlooking the shared garden, which is planted with mature trees and shrubs. Many wildlife birds are attracted to this ‘petite forêt’ and it is very relaxing to sit and enjoy their activities.
WINTER TIME AT LE TERTRE
For visitors who prefer to come to the area in the cooler months, the gites offer a warm and cosy retreat. We have very little snow here but a fine dusting gives a wonderful view for to you sit and enjoy with a hot toddy.
