Etang de Pont-ès-Bigot AQUAREV
Located near the city center Loudeac pond Pont-es-Bigots is at the heart of a rural area.
In 2012 it was completely renovated and is now becoming a very accessible fishing site named Aquarev. It allows the practice of many fishing techniques for all audiences.
A real go for family with many amenities (Picnic, games …), where fishing will mingle with many other activities.
Pathways and pontoons are accessible to people with reduced mobility have been installed and provide easy access for all. .
Lovers of beautiful big net falls of big bream, tench and Roach will love this lake.
The population of predators is interesting,with Pike , Zander and a nice perch population.
This population was completed in 2008 and 2013 by major stocking, made by the Federation and AAPPMA:
740 kg of roach
200 kg of tench
500 kg of Carp over 2 summers
40 kg pike.
Sadly due to Anglers leaving litter and making a mess Night fishing is now not allowed.
Please note – When fishing any Public water in France please have respect for the location and clear up any mess that you have made and do not damage banks / vegetation and no open fires, Catch and release all fish except Trout and Salmon that rules let you take and when fishing for Carp use appropriate tackle with large landing net and unhooking mat. Fish stealing is a big problem from Public waters if you see anybody removing large fish like Carp please take note of the vehicle registration and report to authorities.
