Etang du Moulin Neuf is mainly known as Predator lake and has some great Pike and Perch fishing but there are also Carp, Eels and Roach. There is a area that is marked with Buoys on the upstream section, there is no fishing allowed here this is a nature reserve area. If you are quite on this lake you will see Otters. Some of the banks are overgrown and hard to fish. The lake is next to the N12 so you will have traffic noise but it is worth a visit to this wild water.
Please note – When fishing any Public water in France please have respect for the location and clear up any mess that you have made and do not damage banks / vegetation and no open fires, Catch and release all fish except Trout and Salmon and when fishing for Carp use appropriate tackle with large landing net and unhooking mat.Fish stealing is a big problem from Public waters if you see anybody removing large fish like Carp please take note of the vehicle registration and report to authorities.
