Etang de Kerne-Uhel is a vast stunning water.Located on the upstream part of the Blavet river renowned for trout, It is just over 172 acres and as it is a 1st category water it is mainly fished for Trout by the French anglers there are said to be some stunning Brown Trout. It is a bit of a unknown where it comes to the Carp there are lots around the 3 to 4 Kg mark.
Please note – When fishing any Public water in France please have respect for the location and clear up any mess that you have made and do not damage banks / vegetation and no open fires, Catch and release all fish except Trout and Salmon and when fishing for Carp use appropriate tackle with large landing net and unhooking mat.Fish stealing is a big problem from Public waters if you see anybody removing large fish like Carp please take note of the vehicle registration and report to authorities.
